Deliveries & Calendar

Understand how letter delivery works, track delivery statuses, and use the calendar to stay on top of deadlines detected in your letters.

How Deliveries Work

When you approve letters for delivery, ComplyPost sends each letter as a PDF attachment via email to the client's contacts. You can track delivery status in the Deliveries section.

Delivery statuses include:

  • Pending — The email is queued for sending.
  • Sent — The email has been sent successfully.
  • Delivered — Delivery was confirmed by the recipient server.
  • Bounced — The email could not be delivered (invalid address, full inbox, etc.).

Note

The AI detects deadlines from letter content such as "respond by", "due date", "payment due", and similar phrases. These are shown on the calendar to help you stay on top of important dates.

Handling Bounced Emails

If a delivery bounces, check the bounce reason in the delivery details. Common causes include:

  • Invalid email address — Update the client's contact email in the Clients section.
  • Inbox full — The recipient's mailbox is full. Try again later.
  • Spam filter — Ask the recipient to whitelist your sending domain.

You can retry a bounced delivery after fixing the issue.
